Journey back to December 4th. 1950 in North Korea where we lost Jesse Brown. The first African American to graduate from the US Naval Academy to become a Navy fighter pilot. Jesse was shot down and lost his life while being stuck in his plane which the Navy had blown up to keep it out of the hands of the enemy.  He was awarded the “The Distinguished Flying Cross” for acts of heroism and extraordinary Achievements. Jesse’s body was never recovered.
