Found only in Australia, the beautiful rose-breasted cockatoo, or Galah, is one of the most abundant and familiar of the Australian parrots, occurring over most of that continent. If you ever visit the land down under and hear a “chi-chi” sound, look up! There’s a good chance it’s a Galah!
