Let’s go back to 1991 where 93,000 US Marines were deployed to “Operation Desert Storm” where the 2nd Marine division led the initial breach of the Iraqi mind fields and defensive lines. Known as the “100 Hour War” where the ground war lasted from February 24th. Thru 28th. 1991 which resulted with only 5 Marines killed in action and 48 wounded.
