The time and place are magical. After a day of entertaining visitors, the sun begins to sink and rest. Its remaining light brushes the tops of scattered rocks, lengthens the shadows, deepens the ocean’s hue, and leaves just enough warmth to soften the evening breeze. As the sun fades, the tide recedes, and I drift with it.
