Let’s travel back to October 14th.  1890 to Denison Texas where Dwight D. Eisenhower was born. A West Point graduate who in WW1 commanded a unit that trained tank crews. In WW2 Ike oversaw the Allied invasions of Africa and Sicily before taking command of “Operation Overlord” where he personally authorized the invasion of France on D Day and led the Allied forces on the invasion of Germany. Eisenhower went on to become the 34th. President of the United States.
