Lettering Design  and Stamp Making 2 Day Workshop
 
Have you ever wanted to learn cool styles of lettering? This is the class for you. This series consists of two 3hour classes to learn modern block lettering.  This series also includes videos that can be watched on YouTube any time. You will need to bring supplies which are listed below for the lettering class. After watching the videos that will be sent to you, you will have a week to practice what you want to make into a stamp to carve in the next class.
Supplies you need to bring:
Inexpensive Mechanical pencils and eraser
8x8 grid pad paper
*Videos are included in this class for you to watch at your leisure for practicing.
 
The second part of this workshop is the stamp making. Students will be guided through the easy steps of turning a word or saying into a stamp to add design to your ceramic pieces. Designs can include logos, initials, names, short sayings, and your own custom drawings. Want to turn a design your child has made into a stamp? You can do it!  Stamps make really great gifts for family members and these stamps are not just for ceramics, they can be used for card making etc.
There is a supply fee for the carving set $18. Paid to the teacher (if you already have a carving set, bring it and you can purchase rubber from the teacher)
