WATER MOVES 2.0: advanced water control is a full-day, immersive workshop designed to deepen your understanding of how water affects each aspect of our watercolor journey. Explore how the amount of water IN the paper, ON the paper, and IN the brush all change what happens in a painting. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll discover how to better predict and guage the behavior of your paint. You'll learn about 2 different ways to approach VALUES through the lens of water, and how different pigments may or may not ever reach your darkest values. This class is perfect for the artist with SOME watercolor experience and lingering questions...OR for the experienced watercolorist who faces persistent frustration about WHY things are happening the way they are on the paper!!
March 7, 9am - 4pm
