About the event
Burton Lee is a pedal steel guitarist originally from Miami, FL. He studied French horn at North Texas State University with plans to become a band director, but a show at Denton’s Rubber Gloves and a dive into George Jones records shifted his focus to pedal steel. Mentored early on by Fort Worth steel legend Gary Carpenter, Burton caught the honky-tonk bug and never looked back. He’s toured with Mike and the Moonpies and Eleven Hundred Springs, and now plays studio sessions and weekend gigs across North Texas. He lives in Whitney, TX.
