Music: Chris Curtis

He has lived in Fort Worth for the past 37 years, where he has performed solo and with many other artists at the usual local venues. He currently performs with local bands Sam the Lion, No Class, The Shameless Boohoos and Walt Wilkins and The Rascalitos. Curtis has two solo albums, “Fort Worth” and “Un Hombre, no moderation” and three group efforts, “The Charlie in the Box Project” (with Glenn Milam), “Make it Stick” (Sam the Lion) and “This Texican American Life” (The Shameless Boohoos). His style is a combination of roadhouse blues, folk, rock and country genres, heavily influenced by Johnny Cash, ZZ Top, Jerry Jeff Walker and Willis Alan Ramsey among others. Curtis has written songs for the local theater group Kids Who Care. He also is a visual artist, painting landscapes and portraits at his studio here in Fort Worth.
